Cruising with STYC

We welcome All to our club cruising program. Regardless of boat length, mast height, anchor road, keel depth, crew position or able body. This includes non-members/guests, and even those “non-sailors” types. We believe, and wholeheartedly Encourage, every sailing opportunity as a continual learning encounter. For everyone. Just think of the absurdly, amusingly and eccentrically social encounters you too could experience from a bunch of US sailors in prime action mode.

We are always, repeat ALWAYS looking for volunteers!!! Typically, it is easy simple tasks once at the cruise location such as set-up and take down.  Please feel free to reach out to our cruise director Kristina at Cruise@styc.org for more information. New idea’s & hot tips are also always welcome!

    NEW CRUISE !

July 4th at Quatermaster Harbor, Vashon Island.

The July 4th celebration in Quartermaster Harbor on Vashon Island centers around a massive community raft-up in the harbor and a premier professional fireworks display at dusk (around 10:00 PM) launched from a barge near Burton, which traditionally rivals Poulsbo's old display,

Fly your STYC Burgee so the club raft up/s can be spotted. Be prepared to drop you anchor!

We will have a raft-potluck Saturday evening prior to the fireworks. Please prepare dinner items to share across several boats. And please register below so we know how many to account for.

    Register:  https://www.styc.org/event-6627456

This member has personally seen several Quatermaster fireworks displays there in the past. I am hoping this year's 250th Anniversary will be a truly epic show.

Please feel free to send any of your own cruise photo's to our Social Chair Rachel at: social@styc.org

    See you there!
