Labor Day Gig Harbor Heritage Tasting

Sept 2nd - Sept 4th

Come to Gig Harbor for the last remaining 3-day long summer weekend & join us for an in depth educational STYC distillery tasting at Heritage Tasting Room.

Located in Gig Harbor, Heritage Distillery thrives in the heart of this bustling waterfront downtown boating community. Charming harbor views make it the perfect spot for our Cruising holiday weekend among fine dining, shops, boutiques, wine shops & tastings, a public dock, and several breweries. Even a romantic Venice-style gondola harbor cruise is available to rent.

We will gather at Heritage at 5 pm Sunday 9/3 for a formal 1&1/2 hr educational tasting session lead by one of Heritage's own distillers. Participants will learn about distilling, the aging process, & then be guided through 4 individual & distinct tastes. A complimentary cocktail of your choice is also included in the $45 per person admission.

Note: Due to location logistics there will be a limit of 24 people for this event. An automatic wait list has been established.

This will be an anchoring/raft-up event. **Please use VHF channel #72 to make contact, & fly your Burgee. JENNY HEINZ will be your point person for the Saturday raft-up & pot luck. MARK ABERLE will be your onsite point person for the Heritage Tasting portion. This is a joint venture weekend cruise sponsored by both STYC and CYC.

If you prefer to tie up in a dockside slip there are 2 options available in Gig Harbor. Please feel free to make your own arrangements at either Arabella's or the Gig Harbor Public Dock, both for a mooring fee.

Saturday Sept 2nd - journey down to Gig Harbor, Potluck on raft-up.

Sunday Sept 3rd - Kayak, paddle, Venice gondola harbor cruise, wine tastings, breweries, fine dining, shops & boutiques.

5-7pm  - "happy hour" Heritage Tasting event

7:00pm -  Dinner of your own choice (if eating out, call locations to make reservations prior to ensure you get in). Evening shenanigans

Monday Sept 4th - Coffee Mug-Up, journey home.
