Sloop Tavern Yacht Club was organized in 1976 to promote informal sailing, cruising and racing events in a safe, responsible and friendly atmosphere. STYC is recognized by Pacific International Yachting Association (PIYA) and is a member of US Sailing (USSA).

Voting Member $110.00 (USD), prorated to $82.50 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments This membership level is a FULL PRIVILEGES membership.

Voting members must have an equal interest in a qualifying boat (must meet requirements to receive a PHRF-NW rating). Voting members can race in most STYC events for free, and participate in other PIYA sanctioned races, plus get reciprocal moorage, vote and hold office in STYC. Membership includes a burgee and a membership card. A one-time $50 initiation fee applies.

Associate Member $75.00 (USD), prorated to $56.25 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments This membership level DOES NOT include free race registration, reciprocal privileges, eligibility to register for other PIYA sanctioned races, to vote in club elections, or a free burgee.

Associate members do not have to own a boat. They may register for Club races for the same fee as non-members. This membership level will allow access to club website resources such as the site's forum and crew circle. Associate members in good standing for one year may renew at Voting member status. A one-time $25 initiation fee applies.

Additional Details:

All members must be 21 or older.

Annual dues for the first year are pro-rated. So if you join half way through the year, you only pay half of the annual dues for your first year of membership.
