The Slooper division is not eligible for Overall Awards or the Roland Littlefield Church Performance Trophy. This race is dedicated to Carol Pearl. Carol was an STYC member for 39 years. She was past Commodore, club historian, champion, mentor, friend and involved in organizing this race for as long as anyone can remember. Join us for the Carol Pearl Blakely Rock Benefit Race. This race is one of the biggest races in the Puget Sound, with up to 150 boats participating. For the 2nd year, our beneficiary is Footloose Disabled Sailing who share our mission in getting people on the water. Launched in 1991, Footloose Sailing Association (Footloose) is the Northwest’s premiere sailing program for people of all disabilities, their friends, family, and caregivers. Footloose is dedicated to bringing independence on the water and competence in the sport of sailing to the physically and mentally disabled. Footloose honors those who have served our nation in the armed forces.
