Spring Membership Party!

Spring has sprung! Hulls are wet! Sails are full! Come celebrate the opening of the season with your fellow sailors at the Annual Sloop Tavern Spring Membership Party!

The Entertainment:

This year...We have Alex Simanis (and guests) of Ballard Sails & Rigging giving a presentation on Keelboat Racing during our meeting. (Topics including; "Winning the Start", "Rounding Marks", "Basic Race Tactics" and "Sportsmanship on the Water".

The Goodies:

We have a number of great raffle prizes from some amazing community sponsors such as Fisheries, West Marine, and North West Yacht Systems.

The Grub:

We're trying a different (old) format this year for the membership party....Sloop will provide Burgers, Dogs, Buns, and Booze...We're asking members to bring potluck items. Do you have a favorite casserole? Favorite dessert? Are you obsessesed with Macaroni Salad? Show us! Bring your favorite dish and let us know what you're bringing when you register.

Guests:

Guests are always welcome, we ask that you limit your total guests per registration to 5 persons...In leu of charging for guests, please ask your guests to bring a side-dish from the registration list or be prepared to throw a few bucks in a "Donation" jar at the door.
