STYC burgee's are how you will find our Raft-up anchored somewhere in the Gig Harbor inner bay. Typically we have set-up Raft in one of 2 diff locations in the past:
#1 : in the vicinity of "Pleasurecraft Marina" noted on Navionics chart, between the 2 sewer lines.
#2 : just north of the Seattle Yacht Club Outstation, the only labeled dock on the east side of the harbor.
Whatever else looks suitable for ample swing space will do as well.
First boat to arrive please scope out a comfortable & safe space and drop your anchor. It is Skippers Choice. To the following boats - please communicate with each skipper already there, discuss how you would each like to proceed.
Have fenders ready on BOTH sides. Please be prepared to drop additional anchors in support of the raft-up. There will be 5 sailboats...& *possibly* 2 powerboats.
STYC Kristina will be on s/v Serenity - 206-999-0607. We will be standing by on Ch #72.
No formal groceries available so provision accordingly.
We will meet 4 pm Sunday 8/31 at 7 Sea's Brewing 2905 Harborview Dr for our official Happy Hour. The brewery is just south of The Tides restaurant. No resv allowed so plz grab a few tables if you arrive first.

Tie your dingy to the Blue-vinyl striped outside part of their dock. There will be a Food Truck serving Burgers, Panini's & Yummy Fries.

Labor Day in Gig Harbor

Join us in Gig Harbor for the last remaining 3-day summer weekend !!
If you've never been... Gig Harbor is a bustling little downtown waterfront boat-friendly community. Charming harbor views make it the perfect spot for a 3 day Cruising holiday weekend among fine dining, shops, boutiques, wine shops & tastings, a public dock, and several breweries. Even a Venice-style gondola available to rent for a guided harbor cruise.
This will be an anchoring/raft-up event.
If you prefer to tie up in a dockside slip there are 2 options available in Gig Harbor. Please feel free to make your own arrangements at either Arabella's or the Gig Harbor Public Dock, both for a mooring fee.
Sunday Sept 1st - 4-6 pm - "happy hour" for an un-official gathering at the local waterside 7 Seas Brewery. The brewery has a food truck outside serving burgers & the like for your convenience
Or, Dinner of your own choice somewhere in town (*if eating out, call locations to make reservations prior to ensure you get in). Followed by evening shenanigans.
Monday, journey home.
