Jim, you have posted but it would be more helpful to describe what kind of racing you want to do and when, what kind of boat you have, etc.  Welcome to the Sloop, cheers, Al Hughes, STYC Race Co-chair.

Competitive skippers/boat owners who have room in their boats for more crew, please post here for positions available and experience desired, and share a little bit about your boat and just how competitive you are.

I am new to Puget Sound, a lifelong competitive racer, 35 years on San Francisco bay. Looking for crew any position though a tactician who knows the area would be great!  I just purchased an ESSE 850 sport boat.  Received my PHRF rating of 89.  This boat is a planing hull shape, check it out on the web.  All the best, Jim

    Greeting Paul,

I'm a new member who has just joined STYC, have some racing experience in regattas elsewhere, and saw your post calling for crew on your Pocket Rocket 22, which seems like a very fun boat.

I'd like to join a boat to get the lay of the land with how STYC races are conducted.

If you still have room, I'm up for filling in some capacity, although I have very limited foredeck experience (assuming you're flying spinnakers).

You can reach me at my cell phone (206) 605-0138, and I'm available for even tonight's race (Monday, 8-10-20).  I'll be in Ballard this afternoon working on my Clipper Marine 26 sloop.

    Best regards -- Enere

Ahoy Sloopers!  Checking here to see if you would like to join Perfectly Strange (Pocket Rocket 22) for racing in Class 3 on Monday nights.  Thanks!  Past STYC Commodore, Paul Kalina (paulkalina AT hotmail)
